Honey Crunch Pecan Pie

This is the best pecan pie in the world! It's not Thanksgiving or Christmas at our house without it!
Ingredients
- pie shell
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 Tbsp. Bourbon
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1/2 c: packed brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. Butter
- 3 Tbsp. Honey
- 1 1/2 c. pecan halves
Instructions
- Prepare pie shell, set aside. In large bowl, combine eggs and next 7 ingredients, mix well. Fold in chopped pecans. Pour into pie shell. Bake in 350°F oven 50 to 55 minutes. During last 30 minutes of baking, cover edge of pastry with foil to prevent overbrowning. Meanwhile, in 2 quart
